/02/ Blue Agave Candle

sunlit citrus from the desert’s edge
You didn’t expect the desert to smell like this.
Dry heat, stone underfoot , and then, a sudden brightness, as if the sun itself had been squeezed into the air. Blue agave standing tall, its leaves catching the light, carrying a fragrance both sharp and sweet.
Not lemon. Not lime.
Something rounder, juicier. Like grapefruit kissed with green.
This candle remembers.
