/04/ Laurel Candle

the evergreen crown of ritual and remembrance

They used to weave it into garlands, for poets, for victors, for the ones who dared to speak with fire in their voice.

Not for ornament, but for permanence.

The leaves, dark and aromatic, carried something more than fragrance: a quiet authority, a sweetness edged with resin, the sense that you were standing in the presence of something older than yourself.

This candle remembers.
